Cell phones keep getting better in many ways: faster, longer-lasting, and more stylish. In the last few years, we’ve seen the arrival of several new models from Samsung, Apple, and others, and the good news is that there are even more exciting phones on their way. Here are just some of the phones that might be available for you to buy this year.
iPhone 14 range
The iPhone 14 and other phones from the range are some of the most highly anticipated devices of the year, so we can’t not mention them on this list. The hype is justified, too, given that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are expected to have completely refreshed designs with all-new punch-hole cameras. Rumors also indicate that Apple may release a new model — the iPhone 14 Max — as part of this range. This one is expected to be more basic, but we believe it will have a large screen; some sources have indicated that the Max could replace the iPhone 14 mini. We’re also expecting camera and power upgrades on this range of phones.
Google Pixel 7
We haven’t heard a lot about the Google Pixel 7 yet, but we’re pretty sure it’s on its way — although we’re unlikely to see it till October. Given that Google did a massive overhaul to the current Pixel 6 range, we may not see huge changes with this line. However, we’re expecting the Pixel 7 to be a more polished version of its predecessor, and we’ll gladly take that. Early leaks have indicated that there may only be one model this year.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4
The Galaxy S22 isn’t the only device from Samsung that we’re waiting for; the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, which is expected in late August or September, is highly anticipated as well. It’s expected to be lighter and have a more water- and dust-resistant design compared to its predecessor. We’re also expecting battery upgrades and an improved camera. Some sources have reported that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have two upgraded under-display cameras.
